Woodburn Tulips

Apparently when you tell two boys you are going on vacation to the beach and make a pit stop to see some tulips you are asking for some pouting. The boys didn't care much for all the flowers. But Austin and I sure liked them. One passerby even mentioned as the boys were digging in the mud with sticks "funny they are surrounded by pretty flowers people travel far distances to see and mud is better" Boys will be boys I guess.

Newport Aquarium

The newport aquarium was realy cool they have all sorts of things I didn't even know existed. They have "petting ponds" for kids. They get to touch starfish. anmones, sea cucumbers, and rays of different kinds. My favorite was the Jelly fish....the boys favorites were the sharks of course.

Happy Mothers Day!

I have been blessed to have so many examples of great moms in my life. I have learned and do learn so much from them. I am thankful for the chance I have to be a mom. My two boys are so wonderful. Avery has such a tender heart and realy thinks about things. He is very intospective and has a desire to do what is right. He is such a good helper around the house and loves to make me happy. He is so excited to have a baby and is always asking how big it is. If he can talk to it. How much longer till the baby comes. Everett is so brave, confident and charming. He has no idea he is only three. If you ask him how old he is he will say "five" very matter of fact. When he gets into trouble he will say "I love you mom" and it is hard to be mad at him. Both my boys are so clever and smart. One morning a few days back I woke up and realized Everett hadn't come in and ask for breakfast. That usually means he took matters into his own hands which also means a mess. I opened my bedroom door and the sound of it rubbing against the carpet make Everett run out of the toy room and meet me half way in the hallway. I said "hi Everett" he said "I love you mom" I said "I love you too...what are you doing" and started to walk towards the toy room. He put both hands on my thighs and started to push backward and said "mom you look tired you should go back to bed" I laughed and went into the toy room and saw he had stolen a bag of chocolate chips from the pantry and opened them. He followed me into to the toy room and when he knew he was caught said " I had a treat" all innocent like and all the while tipping his cute face to the side and smiling.
Anyway I have a lot to be thankful for and today especially I am thankful for my cute boys and the little one on the way. I am so scared to have another baby but I keep feeling warm reassuring feelings that this little spirit is ment to come to me and that Heavenly Father has a plan for me and my family.
Happy Mothers Day Everyone! I love you!
