Beckett Boy

Beckett is almost 6 months old! I can't believe it. Time has gone by way to fast. I wish I could freeze time and keep him this little forever. He loves to stick his tounge out when he smiles. He loves his brother Avery and laughs at about anything he says. He smiles after he belches which I find realy entertaining. He has tried to inch worm but gave up and just cries when you put him on his belly now. He has been trying to break out two teeth for over a month now. They come up and back down...up back down. How do they do that anyway? He is loving solids and can't seem to get enough. He is going to be like his brothers a bottomless pit :) A friend in the ward took some fun pictures of him. I thought I would share.

Budda Belly

While eating out at a chinese resturant recently Avery pointed to a big brass statue of Budda and says "Look mom he looks like you did when Beckett was in your belly" Everett adds "ya mom you were so big". Austin being the nice husband he is came to my rescue and said "Boys that is not nice". The boys looked at each other puzzeled shrugged their shoulders and Avery said "Dad he is not real he is just a statue". Funny that it didn't even occur to them that their mom has feelings that could be hurt. They thought Austin was refereing to the statue. :) Funny boys looks like I have some sensitivity training to do.

More things they say

Everett asks me if he can take off his boots in the car. I said please don't we are almost there. Then he says "But mom my feet are getting all slobbered"

One morning over breakfast Avery asks me "mom have you ever farted in your whole life?" I said "yes". Then he says "hmm I have never ever heard you in my whole six years"

Then the other day I asked Avery to help Everett do up his buckle in the car (which he has to do every time we get in the car) and he says to Everett "Everett I won't always be here to do this for you....when I am grown up and married to Kaylyn I won't do this anymore. You need to learn how." Then I said so you are going to marry Kaylyn and he says "yes...well no Clara...no both"

I am loving the pictures Avery draws lately and to hear all his adventures at school. I am thankful he still likes to talk to me and hold my hand. Avery is such a smart sensitive boy. He always wants to learn more and more. He wants to travel and go on adventures and go exploring all the time. I love seeing him with Beckett he is such a good big brother.

Everett Everett it is a good thing he has a million dollar smile and puppy dog eyes. He is a little trouble maker and is so mischievous. Ironically the things that make me laugh and that I love about him are also the things that drive me nuts. His humor, his resilience, his determination, his creativity. I love that little boy with that wonderful smile even when I just realized he has gotten into trouble once again and is looking up at me saying "sorry mom"

Beckett is growing fast he is 9 lb 7 oz now and is so cute. I forgot how much I like babies. I love how sweet he is. He still loves Avery and gives him the most grins. He likes his belly time and would love to sleep on him belly if I would let him. He takes a binky which I love. He likes to work it so his head is in a awkward angel. It looks awfully uncomfortable but he loves it. He sleeps with his eyes open almost all the time and has great dreams, he is always smiling.

I love my little boys and wish I had more time and patience with them. Thank you boys for putting up with me and my flaws and short falling's. I love you.
