I have been blessed to have so many examples of great moms in my life. I have learned and do learn so much from them. I am thankful for the chance I have to be a mom. My two boys are so wonderful. Avery has such a tender heart and realy thinks about things. He is very intospective and has a desire to do what is right. He is such a good helper around the house and loves to make me happy. He is so excited to have a baby and is always asking how big it is. If he can talk to it. How much longer till the baby comes. Everett is so brave, confident and charming. He has no idea he is only three. If you ask him how old he is he will say "five" very matter of fact. When he gets into trouble he will say "I love you mom" and it is hard to be mad at him. Both my boys are so clever and smart. One morning a few days back I woke up and realized Everett hadn't come in and ask for breakfast. That usually means he took matters into his own hands which also means a mess. I opened my bedroom door and the sound of it rubbing against the carpet make Everett run out of the toy room and meet me half way in the hallway. I said "hi Everett" he said "I love you mom" I said "I love you too...what are you doing" and started to walk towards the toy room. He put both hands on my thighs and started to push backward and said "mom you look tired you should go back to bed" I laughed and went into the toy room and saw he had stolen a bag of chocolate chips from the pantry and opened them. He followed me into to the toy room and when he knew he was caught said " I had a treat" all innocent like and all the while tipping his cute face to the side and smiling.
Anyway I have a lot to be thankful for and today especially I am thankful for my cute boys and the little one on the way. I am so scared to have another baby but I keep feeling warm reassuring feelings that this little spirit is ment to come to me and that Heavenly Father has a plan for me and my family.
Happy Mothers Day Everyone! I love you!

confernce with a two year old
Everett was funny. While one of the speakers was talking about the holy ghost Everett turns to Austin and says in a surprised manner "Hey dad they know about the holy ghostes too!" I like how he always refers to it in a plural manner ghostes. Then in a the last session we ended with "we thank thee oh god for a prophet" which is one of his favorite songs. He got all excited and said "Hey they know this song like you mom!"

I put it back
My little Everett boy is so funny and so silly. If you catch him making a mess or getting into something he shouldn't he will say "I better clean this up or I better put this back". All in a very matter of fact tone like it was his idea all along. The funniest was yesterday Austin caught him sitting on the couch picking his nose. When Everett noticed Austin he kept his finger in his nose and said "don't worry dad I put it back".
In Avery news he is all registered for kindergarten and I can't believe it. He is turning into such a boy little man instead of a little boy. I am amazed how much he has matured lately. He is so wise sometimes and amazing.
We are excited for warmer weather and the chance to play outside. Hopefully I will have the chance to upload some pictures soon.
